Rocket League placement matches FAQ
How do placement matches work in Rocket League?
When a new season begins, your first 10 matches in a competitive playlist are placement matches. They decide which rank you start the season at, based on your MMR, which carries over from last season and moves with every win and loss.
Can you guarantee a rank from placements?
No one can promise a specific rank from 10 matches, because the result depends on the MMR your account starts with. The booster plays every match to win and logs each result. If you want a set rank afterwards, continue with a rank boost from wherever you land.
Why does the price depend on last season's rank?
Your MMR carries over, so a higher-ranked account meets stronger opponents in its placements. Winning those matches takes a higher-ranked booster and more effort.
Can I choose the playlist?
Yes. Pick Doubles, Standard, Duel or Extra Modes in the calculator. Every playlist has its own rank, so place one order for each playlist you want played.
Is boosting safe for my account?
Boosters play with “appear offline” and, on request, a VPN from your region. We never touch items, credits or trades. That said, boosting is against the game's terms of service everywhere, so there is always a small risk. Duo boosting avoids sharing your login entirely.
Piloted or play-with-booster — what is the difference?
Piloted means the booster logs into your account and plays. Play with booster (duo) means you play on your own account in a party with the booster. Duo costs more because it is slower and depends on your schedule, but you keep your password.
How do I follow progress?
Your tracking page shows the current rank your booster has logged, a progress bar, a timeline of every step and a chat with the booster. You get the link right after checkout.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit and debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal. Every payment goes through Stripe's secure checkout, so your card details never reach our servers. Google Pay and Apple Pay show up on devices where you have them set up.
What if the booster cannot finish?
The order is handed back to the pool and another booster continues from the logged rank. If we fail to reach the rank you paid for, you get the unfinished part refunded.
